Apostle Melanie Gleabes, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Louis Gleabes from Passaic, New Jersey, has a sister named Jennifer Gleabes. A devoted mother to Tiena Nunez, Natascha Gleabes, and Rashawn Horne, Apostle Gleabes embodies strong family values and imparts this ethos to those around her. Her life stands as a testament to the faithfulness of God’s love and compassion, as she wholeheartedly embraces His word.
Recognized as a called and chosen vessel, set apart to fulfill God’s commission, Apostle Gleabes is known for her numerous outreach efforts within Northern New Jersey. She conducts empowering Women’s Retreats aimed at freeing and encouraging women. Gifted in healing, deliverance, and miracles, she passionately travels across the country, preaching the word of God and serving as a missionary.
Apostle Gleabes’ missionary work has taken her to various countries, including Israel, the Dominican Republic, Uganda, and Nairobi, Kenya, where she has conducted healing crusades. Her compassionate intercessory prayer missions birthed Angel’s Watching Me International Ministries. Since its inception, Apostle Gleabes has organized prayer breakfasts and women's conferences, beginning with her first event in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000.
Prior to assuming pastoral responsibilities, Apostle Gleabes served as an armor bearer for an intercessory prayer ministry and engaged in various outreach efforts at her former church, Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Her service in multiple church offices, including the mission ministry outreach center, helped her discover her God-given gifts. She later pursued theological studies at a local community college.
Continuing her journey on the mission field, Apostle Gleabes has learned the value of servanthood and compassion, regardless of appearances or financial circumstances. Her unwavering belief in the power of prayer has led her to intercede for those less fortunate, trusting in God's provision.
She draws inspiration from her spiritual mentors, including Dr. William L. Sheals, Bishop Thomas Weeks, Prophetess Dr. Juanita Bynum, Pastor William B. Davidson, Pastor Troy Bazemore Jr., Pastor Michal D. Mc Duffie, and Apostle Hakeem Collins.
Currently residing in Newark, Delaware, Apostle Melanie Gleabes continues her spiritual journey at Glory Central Ministries in Wilmington, under the guidance of Apostle Hakeem Collins.
